ELYO

How to use ELYO.

ELYO guides you from your very first messages. Here's how to get started, what to tell it, and how to get more out of your coaching.

How do you talk to it? Naturally.

No special commands. What you tell it helps it better understand your situation and adapt its advice.

At launch, write to ELYO or send a photo. Voice messages will come later. For your workouts, check the compatible gear.

Write in your own words.

No need for precise sports vocabulary. You can write “tough run this morning” or “I don't understand your advice.” ELYO asks you a question if it's missing information.

Tell it what your watch can't see.

How you feel, your constraints and what you meant to do during the workout. This information complements your watch's numbers.

Tell it when something changes.

A new goal, a time slot you no longer have, fatigue or information that's no longer true: let ELYO know so its advice reflects your current situation.

Respond to its advice.

Tell it what you tried, what helped you or what you didn't understand. Your feedback lets it track what works for you and discuss what comes next.

You don't have to start every conversation.

ELYO sends you feedback after your workouts and reviews your week. Reply to it to describe how you felt, discuss its analysis or plan what comes next.

After your workout

When your workout comes in, ELYO analyzes it and sends you its feedback. You can then tell it how it felt.

Every week

It reviews your training to help you understand what's changing and prepare for the following week.

When you want to go further

Ask a question, mention a constraint or request a change. The examples below give you ideas.

Examples of what you can ask.

A part of a workout to look into, a workout to move, a preference to share: pick a topic and use the examples for inspiration. You can copy them or rephrase them in your own words.

Dig into a workout

It analyzes each workout on its own as soon as it comes in. This is for going further: a specific section, a feeling, an interval, when its first feedback wasn't enough for you.

Your goal

It remembers your target race, its date, your goal time, your records and your threshold, and builds everything else around it. Tell it as soon as something changes.

What you eat

A photo or a couple of words, it estimates the calories and macros and compares them to what you burn. It can also suggest menus with the numbers, matched to your tastes.

Your body, day to day

Weight, sleep, mood, resting heart rate, calories burned reported by your watch: it follows trends rather than a single number, and puts them side by side with your workouts.

Pain and injuries

It notes the area, the intensity and the context, reschedules around it, and checks back on its own to ask how you're doing.

Your gear

It tracks the mileage on your shoes and your bike from your workouts, and warns you before it becomes a problem.

When things aren't going well

It changes its approach: it lightens the load, reschedules and stops pushing. Telling it is never a waste of time: it's useful information.

What ELYO remembers about you

Your preferences, your life around sport, how you like to be coached, and what it should forget. It keeps all of this and uses it months later.

Reminders and message frequency

It writes to you on its own at the right time. Here, you're in control: a reminder, a moved review, fewer messages, a break.

What happens when you write.

ELYO uses your request, your training and what you've shared with it. Here's how it builds an answer that fits your situation.

Step 1

You message ELYO

A sentence, a photo of your plate, a screenshot. Nothing to format.

Step 2

It finds the useful information

Depending on your request: your available workouts, your plan, your goals and the useful parts of your previous conversations.

Step 3

It analyzes what you asked for

It can examine a section of your workout, compare your workouts or estimate the nutritional content of a meal. The calculations use the available data; a meal photo remains an estimate.

Step 4

It checks the available information

It brings together how you feel and your numbers to build its advice. If some information is missing, it can ask you for it; you can also correct anything it misunderstood.

Step 5

It answers, and it remembers

The answer arrives in your conversation. ELYO remembers the information useful for your coaching so it can find it again in your next conversations.

You don't have to pick the tools: ELYO looks up the information and runs the calculations your request needs.
